Products

Alamycin

The product is indicated for the treatment and control of pasteurellosis, pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, erysipelas, joint-ill, navel-ill, summer mastitis in cows, ovine keratoconjunctivitis (pink-eye) and enzootic abortion in sheep.

Albendazole

Though albendazole is effective in treating many diseases, it is only FDA-approved for treating hydatid disease caused by dog tapeworm larvae and neurocysticercosis caused by pork tapeworm larvae.

Ascaten-P

ASCATEN-P is a broad spectrum anti-helminthic (anti-worm) for the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms in dogs, puppies and cats.

Butalex

Butalex is an injectable indicated for the treatment of Theileriosis in cattle caused by Theiria parva, T. annulata, T. mutans, and T.

Calf pellets

Calf starter (calf pellets) is essential to trigger rumen development and ensure the rumen microbial population begins to grow and papillae (in the lining of the rumen) begin to develop.

Mash Feeds

Baby chick eating chick starter mash. The grain ingredients for chicken feeds are first ground up into a powdered form, and then mixed together with protein meal and health supplements. This basic powdered form of feed is called a mash. Mash feeds are suitable for chickens of all ages and sizes.

Castration rings

Banding is a bloodless method of castration. The band is used to stop the blood supply to the testicles. Make sure that the bands used are purchased within the last year, as older bands may break prematurely. Calves less than 3 weeks old can be banded with elastic bands and an Elastrator.

Catosal

CatosalTM is a source of Vitamin B12 and phosphorus for prevention or treatment of deficiencies of these nutrients in cattle, swine, horses and poultry.

Dudu-krin

This is an insecticidal shampoo for use on dogs and cats (please see instructions below). Dudu-krin Original Insecticidal shampoo has been protecting Kenya’s dogs and cats for over 30 years! It contains natural pyrethrum for the effective and natural control of ticks, fleas and lice

Fuko-kill

Fuko-Kill is a fast-acting paste rodenticide effective in the control of field and storage for house rats, mice, and Moles. Active Ingredient.

Fuzol

Fuzol 150mg Tablet is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, throat, vagina, and other parts of the body including fingernails and toenails. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane thereby stopping the growth of fungi.

Fish meal

Fish meal is primarily used as a protein supplement in compound feed. As of 2010, about 56% of fish meal was used to feed farmed fish, about 20% was used in pig feed, about 12% in poultry feed, and about 12% in other uses, which included fertilizer.

Mastrite cooper

Golden Mastrite is an effective treatment against the common mastitis-causing bacteria.

Maize germ

Corm Germ is the endosperm of Maize grain; it is a yellow-colored seed, pleasantly nutty in taste and rich in oil. It is mainly used for extraction of maize oil and manufacturing of feed supplement. Maize germ is a high energy, very palatable and digestible feed offering a good source of 'slow release' starch.

Multiject IMM

Indicated for the treatment of bovine mastitis in lactating cows caused by bacterial infection sensitive to penicillin, streptomycin and neomycin therapy.

Multivit

Multivitamins are used to treat or prevent vitamin deficiency due to poor diet or certain illnesses. Multivitamins is available under the following different brand names: Folgard, Natalins Rx, Nestabs CBF, and Nestabs FA.

Services

Farm inputs

Procurement of crop and livestock farm inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, feeds, agrochemicals and professional advice. Demand-driven information, which is, timely and specific is offered.

Pests/pesticides

Through explanation of detailed history and field intervention our trained agrovet personnel are able to differentiate pests or recommend appropriate laboratory samples confirmation, and prescribe the best control regime.

Vaccines/vaccination schedules

Consultation services on the vaccination schedules of livestock and in some cases, a printed schedule is either given or sold at an affordable fee.

Breeds/breeding technologies

Consultation and field services on breeding technologies like artificial insemination i.e., understanding of the heat timing and signs, animal preparation before, during and after heat period or service is limited leading to high infertility rate, especially in cattle – on breeds suitable for your area, and also breeding techniques such as embryo transfer as well as AI services.

Drugs/drug administration

Explanation of the route and amount of drug to be administered, the duration, side effects and withdrawal period for that drug.
